Spotlight on: SAMR Model for Integrating Technology
A little something about SAMR, the district's chosen model for technology integration. You will start to see it pop up all over as a jumping board for all implementation discussions. SAMR was developed by Dr. Ruben Puentedura and contains four distinct layers of integration: Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition. The best thing about SAMR is it gives you the opportunity to select different levels of integration at different times. It also gives you concrete ways to expand and grow the depth of integration.
